Christian Singles Fellowship

Our Almighty God has said, "It is not good for a man to be alone. I will create a suitable helper" (Genesis 2:18). Thus, according to God's plan, with the exception of those who have the gift of celibacy, most of us are created to be married so that we can fulfill God's will through marriage and family. But nowadays, with population growth and economic and technological development, the proportion of people living alone has increased significantly. Sweden is considered to be the country with the highest number of single people, accounting for about 47% of the population, followed by Norway about 40%, the UK about 34%, Japan 31% ... In Vietnam, in 2019, there are 10% of households in urban with only 1 person. There are people who have reached adulthood and have not yet married, some fall into single, or even live alone after a divorce or after the spouse dies.

The churches are also affected by this phenomenon. Today, in the churches the ratio of single men and women at adolecent/middle-aged people is increasing at an alarming rate, there are even people in their forties who have never been in a relationship, even though they have been persisting to serve the Lord and pray diligently for many years.

So what is the reason for the growing celibacy in the church?

How do Christians find their life partners?

Is there a playground for single people to fellowship with, exchange, learn from and contribute to the Church and community together, through which there are also opportunities to interact and choose a partner?

Recognizing that need of single Christians, the Committee of Love in Action organizes the Christian Singles Fellowship (CSF) at 13:30 on Saturday October 24, 2020 at 17th floor, Detech Tower, 8c Ton That Thuyet, Hanoi.

Joining this program, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted, play games, discuss, share opinions, watch unique Christian performances from single brothers and sisters, have fellowship, chat and many other interesting things are waiting for you.

The purpose of the program is to connect single Christians from different churches and denominations who can meet, exchange, learn from each other and from experiences of married people, as well as plan for regular CSF activities to give everyone the opportunity to meet and get to know each other more often.

Target: All Christians aged 18 and over, currently living or working in Hanoi, regardless of the Church, denomination, currently don’t have a boyfriend/girlfriend or are divorced or single or currently widowed.

Attendance Requirements: To ensure this is a healthy and rewarding playground for all serious Christians in faith and marriage, we ask that the participants in attendance be Christians: Believe in God for at least one year or more, have been baptized, have taken at least one basic Bible class of faith, have been regularly in worship for the past 6 months.

Dress code to attend all programs of CSF: Dressing in the way to glorify God

Fee: 50,000 VND/person
